Town of East Granby - Official Website of the Town of East Granby.  Contains links to various boards and commissions, meeting agendas and minutes, etc.

East Granby Public Schools - Includes links to Board of Education, etc.  Registration and password required for some areas of the site.

East Granby Strategic School Profiles 2007-08 - Includes demographic and other important data about each of East Granby's schools submitted to the state annually.  Previous reports for East Granby schools as well as from schools around the states, plus comparison tables, are on the Connecticut State Board of Education website section devoted to strategic school profiles.

Open Secrets.org: Center for Responsive Politics.  Nonpartisan guide to money’s influence on US elections and public policy. Links political contributions to campaign and legislative activity.  "Count cash and make change".

Roll Call at Congress.org - Interested in signing up for email telling you how your state senators and congressmen voted in the past week?  How to get in touch with congressional leaders?  Want to find out what's next?  Committee appointments?  This is a great site, and the email notifications work - you just need to sign up for them.

Yankee Institute for Public Policy - Contains a wealth of information about government and taxpayer issues.

Federation of Connecticut Taxpayer Organizations - Association of taxpayer organizations in Connecticut with numerous links to resources for concerned and involved taxpayers.

National Taxpayers Union - National organization started in 1969.

Taxpayers for Common Sense - Washington, DC-based organization, an independent and non-partisan voice for taxpayers working to increase transparency and expose and eliminate wasteful and corrupt subsidies, earmarks, and corporate welfare.

Consent of the Governed - Great blog by FCTO board member Judy Aron.

State Policy Network - Network supporting state-based think tanks.

iconn.org - "Connecticut's (Re)Search Engine".  Excellent website available to all Connecticut residents who have a library card (required for sign-in).  Multiple research tools for all sorts of projects, and you can order books from other libraries through inter-library loan to be picked up at the East Granby library.

Parents for Education Reform - Coalition of groups supporting a tax credit proposal that will provide scholarships to lower and middle-income students and save the taxpayers of Connecticut up to $5 million a year.  The organization and proposal is being supported by Connecticut Mayors, African-American organizations, the business community and Connecticut's private and religious schools.

Free Republic - Non-partisan conservative discussion board.

NetRightNation - Non-partisan conservative blog.

Bradley Airport Noise Abatement and Insulation Program - Provides information about the residential sound insulation program, and has a link to decibel level maps that are most likely out of date based on current noise levels.  This site also at one time had a form to submit complaints about specific noise incidents; this has now been removed.  The new noise officer (yes, that's what he calls himself) will be updating the site and indicated that, in the meantime, the Hotline (292-2038) should be used for any noise complaints.

Connecticut Council of Small Towns - Organization of Connecticut towns providing information resources for and advocating for the needs of smaller towns.

Conference of Connecticut Municipalities - "The Voice of Local Government".  Organization of Connecticut towns with more focus on cities and larger towns. 

The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy - National organization seeking reform of the American legal system.

   National Association for Prevention of Teacher Abuse - Site dedicated to defending teachers against pressure and actions by
   school administration and school boards.

Connecticut Education Association (CEA) - "Advocating for teachers and public education".

Connecticut Commission on Aging - "Advocating for Older Adults of Today and Tomorrow".

Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) - Site for Connecticut business and industry, good source for business and economic data

Connecticut State Employee Association - Union website for CSEA/SEIU.
